Wow! wow! wow!Now I understand all the good recommendations that I received about this restaurantThe reviews here don't lieI'm in the end of my long trip here and it is by far one of the best places I have eaten at. The service, the endless buffet.. everything was perfect!I totally recommend it

When visiting the ancient city, be sure to stop in here for your go to for an amazing culinary experienceSimply amazing! Sri Lankan food at its finest, with a hidden gem feel in the middle of rice paddy’s and channels of water, this restaurant brings delicious to a completely new meaning.A reasonable set price menu, you choose from a multitude of curry offerings and at least three different rice types.Our host Jag’a himself will guide you through the tasty treats lined along the wall, beautifully presented for your serving.I literally tried everything I could and I can’t fault it.At the end of your meal you have some fun in singing your name off and a message to Jaga and the team there for their delicious meal offering at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic food, great selection with a delightful lime drink to accompany.. would thoroughly recommend after todays experience.Taken by our tour guide Haresh on his recommendation. It was absolutely first class and my only disappointment is that I won’t be in that area again to go back!!

Jaga Foods was awesome. The food was amazing. We got to try so many curries. Every dish was tasty. The restaurant is next to a beautiful canal. The hospitality of the owner was exceptional. He was very friendly and answered all our questions about the food. If you want to try local Sri Lankan food and hospitality, this is the place to go!! I really wish we had time to take the cooking class.

Excellent food at an incredible location. We saw a lot of wildlife during our dinner. The service was very friendly and happy to tell us more about the food and the wildlife we saw. Would definitely recommend!

This was an authentic way to try some traditional Sri Lankan cooking.The owner was very welcoming and the selection of plates that he served us were both varied and plentiful. There was one or two reasonably spicy dishes, but the large majority were mild. We definitely recommend this place, however, I would suggest that lunch is perhaps the right way to go, rather than dinner, as the surrounding scenery may be best viewed during daylight.

Fuimos a cenar después de ver las reseñas que tenía este sitio , y aunque nos costó encontrarlo de noche , mereció la pena. LA MEJOR COMIDA que hemos probado en todo nuestro viaje de Sri Lanka. El dueño encantador nos atendió y nos señaló un dragón de Komodo que había decidido quedarse a dormir en el río alado de su casa .Fue una experiencia maravillosa .Un sitio precioso , comida espectacular y atención de 10.Recomendable 300%
